The Road Trip

Well, here is how this gang of friends got on the road for two weeks straight. 

This morning Amanda, Brielle, Maria, Iliana, Miranda, Hanna, and Adriana were all packing up their clothes and essentials  for their Trip to Orlando. Iliana- “I hope we can go on a roller coaster and I can’t wait to see Brielle barf all over the place once we get there!!”. She laughed. Amanda overpacked because she always thought something might go wrong after that incident in school a few years ago. Amanda-“You might never know if another strike of lightning may hit a pole and the power goes out and we have to bring a torch or a-. You get what i mean!!”.Brielle packed all of her adorable things. Brielle-“My cute sleep mask, my pencil case along with my notebooks, outfits, bonnet, hair brush, 5 plushies with my other 6, and all of my awesome stuff!!” Maria looked at Brielle. Maria-“Only pack the essentials, BRIELLE.” Brielle-”Well what happens if the hotel has some raggedy stuff. I’m not going there and using things that don’t represent me!! Like Amanda could pack normal items because the hotel might have a torch but she uses her own.”. Iliana- “Finished, lets go,we don’t want to be late besides Miranda, Hanna, and Adriana are already outside and in the car!!”. they finished packing and went outside. Miranda- “I thought you guys were never going to come outside. Hanna thought that you were locked inside the house!!” Hanna- “Did not!!” Adriana- “Did too. Anyways get in the car, I want to get there already!!”. Amanda- “Adriana the drive is like 4-5 hours!!”. Maria- “Well, I’m very sure BRIELLE packed snacks with that extra bag!!” Brielle- “Yes that’s what it’s for. The car took off.

 The girls are taking too many stops which is bugging them. Hanna- “Ugh, are we almost there!!” Iliana- “No, my mom is almost out of the pizza place.”. An hour later they stopped at the grocery store. Brielle- “Another stop, this might last a whole year!!” Maria- “Well, look at the bright side at least it won’t last a long time for Ilianas Mom to get out of the store. I hope.”. They all looked at Maria who was shivering. Amanda- “Iliana, are you sure your Mom didn’t ditch us and left us in the car-.”. Ilianas Mom opened the car door with a bunch of groceries.3 hours later,  Miranda-”The gas station, can you get me a snack because Brielle ran out!!” Adriana-”Make that 7 snacks I meant 108 snacks.”. 5 hours later, Amanda-”Um, can you get a charger from the store??”. They turned around and Maria’s milkshake spilled all over the car. Iliana- “I think we need towels. Also, we need more snacks!!” 7-8 hours later. Amanda- “wait!! We forgot to get the snacks along with 6 other chargers like what happens if we run out of power and we can’t use our electronics and also what if someone breaks in and takes all our food and we have no snacks to eat!!” Hanna-“Well we also can run out of gas too and we will have to walk to get chargers and more snacks and food?!?” They turned around again.

The disaster of the roads are endless for the car. Amanda- “If this takes a year we are going to run into some natural disasters on this road. See it even says it on that sign guys!!” Maria- “Amanda don’t jinx it!!”. 10 minutes later. Miranda- “Umm…doesn’t it seem too cloudy??” Hanna fixed her new gold and glittery glasses. Hanna- “Uhh… do you see that giant vortex coming towards us??” Brielle- “that’s  a supercell tornado, it’s a deadly tornado!!” Amanda- “TURN AROUND NOW!!! I DON’T WANT TO DIE NOW!! I’M ONLY 11!!!”. The car speed through the road to get away from the supercell. 6 hours later. Maria- “The Tire is flat!!” the mechanic guy took 2 hours and 15 minutes. Iliana-”And another tire is flat!!” Amanda had crazy eyes. Amanda-”I told you this trip to Orlando was a crazy idea in a car. We should’ve got an airplane, yeah an airplane that’s right!!” Adriana- “We can’t use a plane to go somewhere in our state.”. They got back on the road. Then something hit the front of the car and it got in the bush. Maria- “I think we are lost in a forest guys.”. The girls wandered off in the dark forest.

The girls are stuck in a forest.

Brielle- “This is very dark guys do you think we can get out of here in time because it’s getting really dark.” Miranda- “Yeah, we can’t find a trail anywhere!!” Amanda- “Hey, guys let’s pick up the paste so we can get out of here quickly.” Maria- “Why??” Hanna- “Grizzly bear!!”. The girls ran for their lives. Adriana- “hey does anyone feel stuff crawling on them??” Iliana- “Fire ants run!!”.Brielle- “So yeah I feel like I’m puffing up.” Amanda- “Poisonous bush!! Head to the river!!”. They washed off in the cold river. Miranda- “Hey, do you feel like there is something lurking in the river??” Maria- “Alligator and Crocodile!! Run!!”.6 hours later, the girls are still running from the dangers of the forest till they see the car out in the front. Hanna and Adriana- “Hey guys, look the car!!” Amanda and Brielle- “But what about the huge spider web in front of our exit??” Miranda- “Nope I’m not going to go into another spider or spider web!!” Maria-”But there is a crawling space underneath the web!!”. All the girls crawl under the crawlspace and make it out of the forbidden forest, that’s what they call it. But they have to deal with the treasures highway to get to Orlando.

The girls are bored on the treasures highway.

Miranda- “Ugh, this is taking forever!!” Iliana- “Well the air is very nice outside!!” Maria- “Wait till a trash bag gets on your face.” Iliana- “What??” and a trash bag landed on her face. Brielle and Hanna- “Are we there yet??” Amanda- “Nope. The GPS says it’s only 3 more hours but if we are this slow we’ll get there in about 3 days!!” Adriana- “I need to get to Orlando Immediately!!” Brielle- “Well if we’re going so slow Adriana we’re going to get there in about 3 days.”. The girls stare out of the window for a few hours till it’s night time and Iliana’s Mom goes to a fancy hotel and tells them to stay there for the night.

The girls are unpacking their bags in their temporary hotel.

Hanna- “Iliana, didn’t your Mom tell us that she booked a vacation house because she said hotels and motels are below fancy vacation!!” Iliana- “Well, we can’t go to the vacation house because we are miles away from it Hanna.” Brielle- “We are sorta in a nowhere area.” she said looking out of the window. The next morning they took off on the highway and stopped at a motel to rest. Maria- “Is this necessary guys to waist money to rest. Like a stop n’ go.” Miranda-  “Yeah Maria it does make no sense.”. They stopped at another motel and the girls started to get annoyed by the fact that they kept on stopping at motels all day. Amanda- “We could’ve been at Orlando already and we would’ve been at amusement parks already.” Brielle- “We should check on the car to see why we still are stopping for Hotels and Motels.” Adriana- “We should do the car check at midnight because it’s the most interesting part of the night.” Maria- “Well you shouldn’t have watched all those scary movies last night.”

The girls creep out of a Hotel, Iliana’s Mom stopped at.

Amanda- “I don’t think it’s safe for a bunch of pre-tweens to be creeping outside at midnight adriana!!”  Adriana-”Well, i’m very clear that the best part to do a heist is when it’s night!!”. The girls were walking in their slippers that were their favorite animal and it also squeaked during the night. So all you can hear at night is a squeak, squeak, and a squeak. Brielle-  “Wait, Miranda you have a flashlight so come with me inside the car.” Miranda- “Ok, but we have to be very quiet so we don’t wake anyone up.” Maria- “What do you see in there!?!” Brielle and Miranda- ”Oh My.” Iliana- “What!?!” Miranda- “there is a bunch of tools covered with hair.” Amanda- “Achoo. Yeah, talk about hair.” Brielle- “Sorry. But there is also water. Like Amanda’s goldfish and fur like everyone else’s pets!?!”. In the bush around the corner their pets were looking at them and Maria’s cat and Hanna’s dog were holding Amanda’s fish bowl and Miranda’s dog, Iliana’s dog, Adriana’s dog along with Brielle’s guinea pig were doing a pose and made a squeak that said that the job was done. The girls went inside and thought they would be back on the road by tomorrow.

With lost of hope, the girls really want to go back home.

Miranda- “How long is this going to take. I’m literally burning all of my free time on this trip!!” Brielle- “We could have been at haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain!!”. Amanda- “I know right.”. 6 hours later, the girls were on their Chromebook, laptops, phones, and i-pads. Adriana- “ugh, there is absolutely NO WIFI!!” Hanna- “And they call road trips “NICE QUALITY TIME” when there is no WIFI!!” Maria- “Well at least it’s only a few hours till we get there.”. Iliana- “But we are running out of gas!!”

The girls find a bus to rest at.

Brielle- “hey guys, why can’t we just take a bus to Orlando!!” Miranda- “Yeah, we can try that. So now we can get there quicker!!”. The girls hop on the bus. Maria- “Um, guys that girl in the back seat look familiar??” Amanda- “SHE LOOKS LIKE GABY!!”. Hanna- “That’s Gaby!!”. The girls rushed to the back of the bus to get to Gaby. Gaby- “What are you guys doing here. I’m just on the bus to get to Orlando.”. Adriana- “So are we!!”. The bus stopped and went and stopped again. It was 20 minutes later when the bus stopped at this area that looked dark and gloomy. Hanna- “This doesn’t look like the fun Orlando they say in the commercials. Gaby- “Hanna, life isn’t based on commercials, and also most commercials are fake.” Hanna- “Oh, I did not know that. Ok, I’m just kidding!!” and into the town of Orlando they went.

The girls walked into the very dark and gloomy part of Orlando.

2 hours of walking. Maria- “I felt something on my arm.” Adriana- “I know, i feel like we are in a watched territory.” Iliana- “I heard something guys.”. The girls all turned their heads like they were in an action movie and saw something floating and screamed and ran all the way out of the abandoned circus. They were all out of breath when the reached another obstacle. Brielle- “guys look, there are a bunch of pets everywhere and they are all sound asleep and if we wake them up they will attack us.” Amanda- “Say what know!” and she stepped on a dogs back. Gaby- “RUN!!!”. The girls ran for their lives(again) until the canines were fast asleep by some kid. But it turns out to be Zoee!! Zoee- “I knew you guys needed help.”. The girls were out of breath when they hugged Zoee. Miranda-”We could’ve been canine meat if you didn’t save us back there.”  Zoee-”So, are you guys going to Orlando too.”. Amanda and Brielle-”Yeah that’s the same way we found Gaby!!”. All 9 of the girls skipped off into a strange but familiar entrance or exit. The girls are FINALLY at Orlando!!!

Zoee- “I hear some noise, like cheering and laughing in THIS direction guys.”. Iliana- “Then go and find it because I’m NEVER going in an area that, I don’t know, has creepy laughter and cheering!!”. Just a few seconds later Hanna and Adriana pushed Iliana into the fog. 5 minutes later. Gaby- “Hey guys, there is Some color over THERE!!.”. 7 minutes later. Brielle and Maria- “There is some noise coming THERE!!”. 10 minutes later the fog cleared. Miranda- “WERE AT DISNEY WORLD!!!”. The girls all cheered, danced, and laughed. Amanda- “Lets go and ride on rides!!” and that was that when the girls stayed on the road for TWO WHOLE WEEKS STRAIGHT, now here they are at Orlando FOR TWO WEEKS and having the best time!! 

Hanna- “I think it’s time for another book!!” Adriana and Miranda- “Mmm.” Brielle- “We are going to introduce you into…” Amanda- “The newest story of us in the making…” Iliana- “The one and only other book about us…” Maria- “SAY IT TOGETHER…”  Brielle, Amanda, Iliana, Maria, Hanna, Adriana, Miranda, Gaby, and Zoee- “The disaster year!!”  Gaby- “coming out in December- January.” Zoee- “Another DISASTER about us!!”  Miranda- “But it turns out GOOD at the end!!”.
